Essen German Film & Comic Con was quite small, but I had a great time! Cosplayed Entrapta again, and met @maireadralph, @dearladynightmare, and @tallysgreatestfan, plus their friends. I'm glad everyone was able to come! More photos in JJ's Instagram.

Some time travel must've been involved here, but at least it's a prime spot to meet.

Tiny cups are a must!

And most importantly:

A portion of the weekend loot behind the cut.

Finding this G1 Hordak statue was quite a surprise. I already owned MOTU Classics Entrapta, and now they form a happy family.

And the presence of spacebats requires more...bats?

Fan question: Which characters would the #Vikings cast members save? - But without spoilers beyond Season 3, please! 😂👌 And Ivan wasn't exactly on board with everyone wanting to save George - Jefferson Hall not either. 😜😂👑 Sorry about the blurred image, I'm SO annoyed by it myself because Ivan's expressions were gold - but the camera auto focus reacted to anyone in the audience who walked past in front of my camera. 😑 Yes, I need to get MUCH closer next time. Anyway, wish you a good start to the week! 😊

Okay lads, in case anyone is going to German comic con in Essen this year, here's some information about the event. I emailed them some questions I had and thought it might be a good idea to share.

Here's what they said about...

Bag policy: "You are welcome to bring a bag"

Schedule for meet and greet & panels: "The schedule will be posted one to two weeks before the event. It shows who is doing the panels, when the photo shoots and meet and greets are."

Autograph signings: "The autograph times are not listed. The guest signs autographs between the times." (in between panels and photo ops I'm guessing)

Vegan food options at the venue: "I cannot say whether there will be vegan food and I also cannot say whether there are restaurants nearby that offer it." (Any vegans on here that have suggestions on places to eat are welcome to add to this post!)

Card payments at the event: "Since the internet is not that good in the hall, our EC card devices will not work, so it is best to have cash with you."

Water stations: "There are no water stations at the event where you can fill up your bottles."

Hey European She-Ra/MOTU fans! A few of us are attending German Film & Comic Con in Essen this August, and there are still tickets left.

As far as I know, @dearladynightmare and her friends, @maireadralph + friend, and I are going in cosplay garb. Would be a fun opportunity to meet other fans and make new friends!

German Comic Con: Dear ones, Unfortunately, we will be pushing the POLICE ACADEMY REUNION as well as Melissa Ponzio and the Once Upon A Time guests Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue and Rebecca Mader from the GERMAN FILM COMIC CON ESSEN to the GERMAN MOVIE COMIC CON DORTMUND on December 7-8, 2024 All ticket buyers affected will receive a separate email and can decide whether to keep the tickets and postpone them to December or if they want a refund. This also applies to orders from the autograph service. Even though we still have three weeks until the event, the demand is far too low. We have already announced a few months ago that in the future it will only be possible for us to carry out the events with the planned guests if the advance sales are accepted accordingly and that the consequences of having too few advance sales are the cancellation or postponement of the affected guests.
